Back in 2021 I helped my team at Makers Place create a range of beach inspired door & drawer handles. I am now re-visiting the models and completely re-designing them to a more refined execution. The backs of the original pieces were in fact hollow, and this is being rectified so each piece becomes double sided. Each handle being updated in 3D will also gain new additions — pebbles and water forms — all designed to be highly tactile to the touch.
These are all to be made from community and beach clean-up collection sites of used aluminium drinks cans. Up-cycling you can live.
