Hand forged crucifixion nails
Hand forged crucifixion nails
#008000
Part of the ´Renaciendo´ project, this piece is a tactile, hand-fabricated work that transform recycled materials into functional art. Each nail embodies a story of renewal, blending playful design with a powerful message of sustainability and thoughtful living.
Using aluminium saved from landfill sites or beach cleanup projects, the sand casting process is the same that I developed for the 'Makers Place' single use plastic & aluminium recycling studio that I designed & built from the ground up for Soneva in Noonu Atoll, Maldives. The process leaves a minimal carbon footprint, giving single-use waste a new life.
Every piece is a unique casting, individually created from the artist’s original maquette, ensuring no two are alike.

lg w 200 gms h200 x w45 x d45 mm
NB. size & weight are guides, each is hand forged & may vary.
Each piece is stamp initialled by the artist on the shank.
The packaging also reflects our commitment to sustainability, made from 100% recycled and unbleached Kraft™ paper. Its unbranded, minimalist design is reusable, doubling as an elegant storage solution for your home.
