Restoration begins at the abandoned site of the last Baroque Convent of the Carmelites left standing in Spain
Author: Distil Ennui | Post Date: 11-12-2019This project has just broken ground, in 2020 a major public installation will take place in this abandoned Baroque Carmelite convent dating from 1688 and the last of its kind in Spain still standing.
I will very shortly be announcing further details of the project, but here are a few soundbites to give you a taster. recycling aluminium rubbish to fabricate a complete lighting system, large scale installation of artworks, new sculptural works and hosting an artist residency.
