Over the years I have developed a studio based artist residency program that has benefitted many young artists from around the world and hosting design & recycling workshops. In 2020 I worked to re-open a closed & historically important Spanish convent and in 2021 collaborating with the Soneva Namoona Foundation, I was able to open the first carbon neutral plastic & aluminium recycling studio in the Maldives.
The studio is now very close to being 100% circular in process & production processes, I use chemical & carbon neutral techniques that reduce the impact of my work & actively benefit the environment by recycling in an ethical way. So far across my project base we have recycled over 3,000,000 individual aluminium drinks cans and over 4,000 kilos of plastic, all of which were rescued from land fill or beach cleanup projects.

Your support will go directly to help fund the artist residency program which has been nurturing artists globally for the past 20 years, and, towards 'Makers Place II' the second incarnation of the plastic & aluminium recycling facility already operational in Maldives. Machine prototyping & fabrication for the new facility is already underway.
